Our blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot celebrates Bordeaux-style traditional winemaking. Grapes were harvested from the Lodi American Viticultural Area, where a warm, dry climate allows for full ripeness and high alcohol. Post-primary fermentation, a secondary malolactic fermentation mellowed the natural acidity of the grapes and balanced the wine. Our dual-barrel aging process was designed to enrich the complex mouth feel of this unique blend. Utilizing tight-grain French Oak to release intense aromatics, and American Oak barrels to increase the tannin structure, the result is an elegant, premium red blend.
