District Sales Manager
Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced and motivated District Sales Manager to join our close-
knit, three-person sales team. This role covers primarily the state of Indiana
(approximately 85% of the time), with occasional travel and shared sales
responsibilities in Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Wisconsin, Tennessee, and
Florida (15%).
This is a full-time, field-based position focusing on off-premise independent retailers
and small chains, with occasional calls on on-premise accounts (restaurants, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a strong in-market presence 4.5 to 5 days per week
Develop and manage relationships with account buyers, store managers, and decision-makers
Build and sustain strong connections with distributor sales teams in your territory
Identify sales opportunities and provide solutions for market challenges
Collaborate with the National Accounts Director on planogram execution, POS placement, and seasonal programming
Participate in ride-withs and work-withs to educate distributor reps on Easley brands and shelf standards
Conduct occasional in-store tastings and participate in wine events and festivals
Attend occasional distributor sales meetings
Travel as needed (expect 1–2 overnights per month)
Submit daily orders and reports on market conditions, sales activity, and product opportunities
